Building a thriving homestead is all about making choices that feel good for your family, your animals, and your land. When we first started formulating our products here at Ridgewell, we knew we wanted to move away from the heavy, synthetic chemicals that dominate the market.
Instead, we looked to nature. By harnessing the natural power of plant-derived ingredients—like clove and cottonseed oils—we discovered that you don't have to compromise on strength to get a cleaner, smarter solution.
As we look toward the future and expand the Ridgewell family of products from the coop into your home, our commitment to plant-derived ingredients remains exactly the same. Here is why prioritizing botanical power is at the heart of everything we do For Your Home and Homestead.
1. Working with Nature, Not Against It
Plants have spent millions of years developing their own natural defense mechanisms against environmental stressors. Essential oils and botanical extracts are simply nature’s built-in toolkits. By carefully selecting ingredients like clove oil, we are able to tap into those highly effective, time-tested properties to create dependable solutions for your daily homestead routines.
2. A Cleaner Workspace for You and Your Animals
Whether you are deep-cleaning a kitchen counter, refreshing household spaces, or tidying up outdoor shelters, the ingredients you use linger in the air and on surfaces. Plant-derived formulas offer a smarter alternative to harsh synthetic chemicals, giving you total peace of mind while you work around your family and your animals.
3. Gentle and Dependable Performance
There is a common misconception that a product has to smell like a science lab to actually get the job done. We are proud to prove that narrative wrong. Our plant-based formulas are tough enough to handle demanding homestead chores, yet gentle enough to use around your most valued spaces. No complicated dilution, no chemical chaos—just reliable, straightforward care.
